Terms of service
Last updated: October 2, 2026
These terms govern the use of the Voces de Izquierda app and this website (together, the “service”), operated by Damian Soto (“we”). By using the service you accept them. If you don't agree, don't use it.
What Voces de Izquierda is
It is a directory of content creators and a notification system: it tells you when the creators you follow post and takes you to the platform where the post is. It doesn't host, play or download videos. Videos are watched in each platform's official app or website.
YouTube and other platforms
The service uses YouTube API Services. By using the app you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
When you open a link you leave Voces de Izquierda, and the terms of the platform you arrive at apply.
Voces de Izquierda is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by YouTube, Google, TikTok, Twitch, Instagram, Spotify, Patreon or Apple. Their names and trademarks belong to their owners.
Your account
The app creates an anonymous account when you accept these terms. You can save it with your Google or Apple account so you don't lose who you follow when you change phones. Look after access to that Google or Apple account: whoever signs in with it also gets into your Voces de Izquierda account. You can delete your account whenever you like from the app's Settings.
Age
You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. If you are a minor, you need your parent's or guardian's permission.
Permitted use
You may use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- access it with automated programs or extract data in bulk;
- interfere with how the service works, bypass its security measures or get into other people's accounts;
- send false reports or abuse any feature;
- use it for anything illegal, or to harass creators or anyone else;
- copy, modify or resell the app, except where the law allows.
Creators and third-party content
We choose which creators appear in the directory and may add or remove anyone at any time.
Posts and opinions are the responsibility of each creator and of the platform where they are published. A creator appearing in the directory does not mean we endorse everything they publish, nor that they endorse or are associated with Voces de Izquierda.
Titles, descriptions and thumbnails come from the platforms and belong to their authors.
If you are a creator and want to correct your details or leave the directory, or if you believe something in the service infringes your rights, write to d2600.dev@gmail.com.
Notifications and links
Notifications depend on third-party services and on your connection: they may arrive late or not at all. A video may move or stop being available, and a link may stop working. If you find a broken one, report it from the app.
Intellectual property
The Voces de Izquierda name, logo, design and code are ours or are used with permission. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable permission to use the app in line with these terms.
No cost and no warranties
The service is currently free. It is provided “as is” and “as available”: we don't guarantee it will work without interruptions or errors, or that the directory is complete or up to date.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages or for third-party content, products or services you reach from the app. None of this limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer that cannot be waived.
Suspension and end of the service
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. We may also change the service or stop offering it. You can stop using it and delete your account at any time.
Privacy
How your data is handled is explained in the Privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We will publish any change here and update the date at the top. If you keep using the service after a change, you are taken to accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico, without prejudice to the rights given to you by the law of the place where you live.
Language
This is a translation of the Spanish version. If the two differ, the Spanish version prevails.
